As a staff psychologist, he provided psychological services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He worked closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to coordinate treatment and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
Teaching and Professional Experience
Dr. Kuppersmith has also been actively involved in the education and training of future psychologists. While at Kings Park Psychiatric Center, he served as chairperson of the Psychology Department’s Ethics Committee.
He currently serves as an adjunct professor of Psychology in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program at Adelphi University. He has also taught as an adjunct professor at Hofstra University.
